Our Story

When we first opened shop in the historic area of Georgetown, CT, we were honored to be warmly welcomed by the local community. Nowadays, we have started a new venture and relocated to the neighboring town of Ridgefield, CT. Our hearts are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received from our loyal customers.

If you walk by our family-owned and operated bar & grill, you will likely find Fairfield County residents grabbing a drink at the bar, having dinner with their families, or relaxing under an umbrella on a warm summer day with one of our famous artisan cocktails. Often, our friendly staff will welcome you by name; because, as our motto goes, we believe that everyone who walks through the Black Cat Grille’s door enters as strangers and leaves as friends.

The burgers here are fantastic! I’m sure the other food is good too, but honestly the burgers are so good I find it hard to order anything else. The service is prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The outdoor patio is lovely on a nice day, and the indoor seating area is cozy and inviting. I really appreciate that their kitchen stays open during that awkward time between lunch and dinner (around 3pm) when many places in the area will turn you away if you’re looking to get a late lunch. Black Cat Grille is accommodating and welcoming whether you show up at 12pm or 3pm or 5pm.
